Another wolf! Hehe thatīs the second one I see within just 24 hours coming from hide and fur and posted to da. Hide and fur got many new wolves I have seen.
Please can you tell me it the wolves from them have the original Cites tags?
I am asking because I search now for a pretty long time to get a new wolf pelt for an accurate price and hide and fur has the best ones, but I live in Europe and need Cites which was made for exact the pelt they offer.
Glacierwear for example has just Cites copies for each wolf pelt. That makes the original legal, but not the import to my country. And here where I live, we donīt have any pretty new wolf pelts sadly.
They do indeed have all cites tags and paper information.
If you check out their page, they have a section about international shipping since they are located here in the US. You can check that out here: [link], though they quote, "We strongly discourage all international orders."
You may have better luck elsewhere or if you can find someone with all licenses to legally buy the wolf and ship it to you.
Glacierwear may be different on shipping laws. All their tans are garment tans, great if you're looking for wallhanger or craft making. Also traditional head-dresses.
I'm sorry that you're not having the best of luck! I understand it's difficult, especially from another country!
If you ever need help, please contact me here and I'd be more than happy to do what I can. Thanks!
I have seen hide and fur's intern. shipping info and they only agree in it when you buy a value of 2000$ and more.
I would like to have just one wolf.
Yes there must be someone who would buy the pelt for me. Then get export tags from their state and ship them to me first, so I can get the import tags.
The wird thing about the tags is, that our German law says, I must give them the export tags, before I have bought the wolf pelt.
That ofcause is mad, because it makes the one who does the favor curious and he may not understand it. I once asked someone on ebay who sold a black wolf there. It had cites but he didnīt have the mood to go through the paper work.
It's definitely a new world of issues when it comes to taxidermy laws and import + export.
I really wish I knew more so I could better help you, but alas, I don't know much on other country laws.
I wish you the best of luck in finding your wolf! I am sure you will find one. It's just a matter of patience and searching.
